2000 DX, Bseries engine, O2 Problem??
I just got done swapping my b16a2 in my 2000 dx hatch.
It's running alll 2000 civic si wireing & ecu.
I used to own a 2000 civic SI and noticed there is a O2 sensor that comes down above the cat. The dx engine has it's O2 sensors on the top of the exaust manifold. So when I put the civic si wireing harness on there is only one place for a os2 sensor (which plugs into the header), but the computer is looking for another one which would plus into the cat. How can I get this senor to shut off or where could I plug it into the wireing harness.
PLease HELP!!

well if your using the b16 harness. theres a spot for the front o2 sensor and on the back side of the harness a plug for the 2nd o2 . you didnt say what kind of exhaust your running but im guesssing your running a stock b series manifold bolted straight pipe to your dx exhaust. your gonn ahave to either get a bung welded in, or get a cat then an ex or si midpipe and a hatch axle back. since any performance exhaust you get for a hatch is gonna be for a dx with the close coupled cat. email me if you have more questions
