Default installing oem style fogs **HELP**

hey so i recently got into an accident and just got my car back today. i asked the shop if they could cut out the slots in my bumper so i could install the fogs. this for a 92-95 2door btw. anyways, is their any way i can install them w/o having to take off the front bumper? since i had the bumper (it was damaged in the accident) replaced with an aftermarket oem style one, i dont want to take it off and then have a lot of difficulty puttin it back on. is it possible to do this?

also, i wired them up and tested them out earlier. they work fine however when i hit the switch to turn them on, they turn on like they should, but when i hit the switch again to turn them off, they wont go off until i turn off the car. what gives? how can i fix it so they come on/off when i hit the switch? thanks

No, you have to take off the bumper at one time or another during the install. It's not that hard to take off the bumper.

The mounting points are the small posts on the backside where the foglight brackets screw into. If they're already cut out, I don't know what you could do except for maybe try and fabricate something.

Removing your front bumper is really pretty easy:
  • 5 screws on top between headlights
  • 2 bolts on the bottom underneath car
  • 2 screws in the sides (1 on each side) in the wheelwells.

Just make sure to puta towel on the ground or do it on the lawn so that the paint doesn't get all scratched up.

At least it seems like you've done all the wiring and such already. I'm still in the process of cutting up the bumper on mine. Good luck.

This is the back of a sedan bumper but you should see those 4 round posts that you'll screw into. If those are no longer there, I guess you'll have to ghetto-fab something with epoxy, nuts, bolts, and screws.
