dx hatch with ex doors can it be done?
i was just wanting to know if you can just put the ex doors on a dx body. and if so is the dx dash harness the same as a ex harness. so the power windows and door lock just plug in. so if anybody has done this swap before please tell me how it went. was it easy or a bitch :naughty:

look there are little differences in the wiring harnesses but it should work as long as the ex doors are from whatever you currently own eg. only 2dr 3dr doors will work on a 2dr 3dr. although if you wanna tear your dash out power to ya. and dont come crying to me when you cant get it back together or the sensor on the srs has already deployed the airbags and you plug your ex harness in and poof there goes yours. too many what ifs. ask honda themselves or buy a helms

i believe the harnesses are the same, think about the fact that even though the DX doesnt come witha tach it is still wired for one. it is not cost effective to make 5 different harnesses depending on trim levels. especially considering the ex is proly the most popular model.
