Default 5gen Civic Front bumpers

I tried to search, but can't seem to find it, I remember people talking about swapping bumpers from hatchbacks to sedans and viceversa, how easy is it?

Change lights, fenders, hood and bumper. Is it worth it?

Yeah, you really should only have to change the bumper cover. Someone on HT who did it said he used a heatgun to kind of reshape it to fit though.

When I get bored, I'm going to go trade the bumpers between my sedan and hatch and report back here

my buddy did it the only thing is that the way the 4dr fender curves along the wheel well is different so the lines dont match up from a distance you cant even tell up close there is like 1/4 of an inch overhang on the 2dr 3dr bumper so no you dont need to switch the hood and fenders if you can live with a little overhang

i will post a pic when i see him next

You don't need to change the lights, fenders, or hood...

You do need to change the hood, fenders and corners if you're a perfectionist. Just swaping the bumpers isn't going to look right.

I saw a guy how did it on honda-tech, used a heat gun to soften it up and bend to make it fit better. Looked pretty damn good to me.
