how ur tint ur car windows?
^ purple tint is so 90's
I did mine and I made sure to purchase sheets of REAL METALALIC charcoal film (this is the same quality tint the pro's use). Most tint manufactureres don't sell that purple crap n e more.
But not only is it a good idea to get it done because of the waranty, its also the cost. It's rather cheap to get it done ($100 - 175 for a coupe) but the film that you buy to DIY is like $15 a sheet and that only covers one side or the rear windshield. Your gonna spend $45 and if you've never done it, your gonna re-do most of it. Which means spending another $15 per sheet. It could total $90 if you re-do the whole thing (like most people end up doing) So it's not really worth it. Plus you'll never get pro-quality unless youve done it before.
