thanks man, appreciate it and yeah turbo sohc...i'm still on the stock d16y8. I guess i just heard one too many people give me a smirk in their swapped cars and say, "hey man, why don't you get a b16 or b18c"
h: because i can pull about a train on the suckers that just swapped and have boltons
Now i'm contemplating either going fully built, using the supra pistons with b16 rods to run a bar, or ls turbo this summer. Most turbo sohcs you see are just a greddy kit on 6 psi. At that boost you are only gonna see about 140 whp 130 torque which would put you at about a high 14 or mid 14 if you can drive really well.

that's pretty much it for motor mods.
JKAN2001: My brotha! I love to see other people boosting their SOHC motors! I did the Greddy kit and ran a 14.012 on a completely stock car at 8psi. NO other mods at all (except for the EVO CAT-back).
Since then, I've put a V-AFC on with RC 440s and plan on doing a Fluidyne radiator, FAL fan, Walbro in-tank pump, and SPEC Stage 3 full disc clutch. I know I'll be in the 13's then.

I'm currently building a sohc vetc to hold 16 psi. on the street. hopefully i can acheve this with a t-28. the block is sleved by g-e and endyne pistons egle rods. i think i might do a zex cam there suposted to be nice. good times thogh.
