My brother did it to his, made the shifting difficult and altogether nasty.

get a short shifter.... dont cut it

Dont do something like that to your car, and actually i have a custom made short shifter, my friends dad made it, in his machine shop.

the guy i bought my car off of already cut the shifter... it really sucks. now my question is: how do i attached the shift knob back on untill i get a new shifter?
