awkward idle when cold...HELP

Default awkward idle when cold...HELP

okay....
i drive a 95 civic ex, stock engine 157k mi

whens its cold here and my car sits for a while (overnight, through the school day, etc) ill turn it on....and the engine will rev between 1k-1.5k in neutral....it seems to be only when the car is warming up cause it ends up stoppingafter not too long

anyway...what should i check into on this
i replaced my fuel filter which didnt help

injectors? im not incredibly engine savvy so i dont know where to start....

That is normal. It does it to me too. Don't worry unless it is getting way up there.

yeah... i have a 95 hatch and it does that as well... also... my girl has a 95 accord automatic which also does this... and hers only has 58k on it... i wouldnt trip...

It was cold when I first bought my 93 ex and it did the same. Now that it's warm here, I haven't seen it do it. I guess it's normal:dunno: . I wouldn't worry about it.

ya i was pretty sure it was normal...just the engine warming itself up...but i have a friend...well i know some1 with the same car, exactly...and like 1000 miles less and his doesnt do it so i was confused....thanks guys
