I have mudguards on my car, barely notice them. Scrape nicely on the ground though...

had to enhance the brightness to even see the rear m. guards.
Do whatever you feel looks best for your car.

take them off... on a black car they look OK... but on a lighter car they look bootie... just my opinion though...
