Default Osaka Motors

Has anyone bought an engine from a site like Osaka Motors? They are a junk yard company, and im afraid that their engines wont work properly or something. Where do you guys suggest I get an engine, because I dont want to get a bad deal, or get ripped off for a new engine. I really need one too, my 93 civic has 173,450 miles on it.

This has been covered a million times, next time search. Some people have gotten engines with broken parts. I think osaka has a start up policy, so if a part is broken or missing they will replace it.

There is a lot of other shops that sell great swaps for the same amount or less than osaka.

also, try the shop that would put it in. i was going to order an engine myself, but then found out that the shop that would have put it in would just get the engine for me. saves a little on shipping and you know you'll get something good because it'll go right to the shop, from someone they trust already. of course, if you're doing it yourself, i guess that wouldn't work. (btw, i've heard bad things about osaka, but haven't dealt with them personally).
