Auto Tranny Question/Problem...help!!
So I broke the axle on my hatch and I need to get that fixed soon, but now my automatic everyday sedan is having trouble with the automatic tranny
Everytime I gas hard or let the rev's get above roughly 3k, the engine just revs and the car doesn't accelerate. Usually this happens most often when the tranny is trying to downshift. I'm guessing its the torque converter, but I don't really know jack about these auto trannies
Anybody have any suggestions? I want to get this fixed as this is my daily driver and my hatch doesn't run right now either..

I've got a torque converter I'd sell you for like 20 bucks plus shipping. The other thing to check out is the cable that runs from the tranny to the throttle body. Make sure it's not too tight, or too loose...

Thanks for the suggestion guys, I'm going to go reset the ECU and check the cable tomorrow. Hope it solves the problem, if not I might need that torque converter or tranny
