i was wondering, how much hp do you think you could get out of a b16a sir II engine (going all the way, no price limit)? just wanna see what my limitations might be. thanks.

Well... with no price limit the first thing you would do is resleeve it and maybe stroke it. So are you talking how much power is achievable with that displacement or with that block?

i'm pretty much asking, if you had that exact engine, how much horsies can you get from it? (roughly of course).

Unlimited budget I'll say 500 horsepower as a rough estimate.

Given that question... "no price limit" the HP is unlimited as well....

i suppose that's pretty true. so perhaps, it should be changed to something like ... for a fairly normal person, with a somewhat liberal budget (not just i/e/h stuff, but really tricking it out).

all motor, i'd say around 300 hp

on boost, i'd say around 800

Nah there's heat, displacement, and pressure limits inherent in the block.

it depends on how fair going makes it not a b16a anymore, if we could do anything and only have to keep the block, then it could go insane as long as motor life isn't an issue
