Default Rear Disc Swap/Upgrade Question

Why would you choose to go with a rear disc brake swap from a 99-00 Si or GSR integra over the AEM rear disc upgrade kit? what are the goods and the bads of both those options?

but honestly, what are the chances of finding an integra or si in a junk yard...what parts do you need?

The junkyard that I went to had quite a few. He said that there were so many folks that were asking for them that they knew exactly what to give you. And he only charged me 200 for the entire setup.

Just to be on the safe side, get this;

Rear suspension (LCA's, rotors, caliper, etc...)
Parking brake cables
Proportioning Valve
Master Cylinder and Booster (might not be necessary, but nice to have).

While you're at it, I'd invest in a set of new rotors and pads for the rears. If you got the extra cash, get a set of SS brake lines as well. Any additional info, just do a search, this has been covered numerous times...

You got all that for $200? What to make some money? I'll give $350 for :

Rear suspension (Trailing arms, rotors, caliper, etc...)
Parking brake cables
Proportioning Valve
Master Cylinder and Booster From a teg RS

As much as I'd like to sell it to you. I think that if I went to the same wrecking yard and try to get another setup, they'd charge more for it now. I got the parts about a year and a half ago...
