If you Buy a New car, or used from a dealer, READ THIS
Dealers and Salesmen live and die by getting you separated from your wallets, and HondaUSA gives them a wide berth to do just that. If you purchase or lease a car (any vehicle) tell the sales person after a price is agreed to, before you sign anything, that if the factory service and parts manual is not included with the car without additional cost there is no reason to go any further, it he/she says no give a polite :fawk:
and get up to leave. Being the way honda dealers are, you shouldn't have to go through any of that, but remember they have the power to absorb things into the cost of the car, accessories and especially the factory service manuals of the car. If you don't get the book when you buy the car it may cost up to $350 to purchase it later. This is just a friendly announcement from

He's talking about SERVICE manuals not owner manuals Tirod. I've never heard of a service manual coming with any car, but I suppose it wouldn't hurt to try and get one thrown in. The are of no use to most people anyway. Dealers make the most money out of service, so I doubt they'll ever start throwing service manuals in.

Thanks Wisel, Yes the SERVICE manual, the owners manuals are worthless...
As to who I am, I am a mechanic for a construction unit in the military. I work on everything from 120 ton cranes to 10 pound presure washers in -20 to 135 degree weather all over the world. And without a doubt, my favorite thing in the world is the whine from a turbine, spooling up.
