93 civic ex

Does my 93 civic EX coupe come with vtec?? I already did a search and most people say I do but it doesn't say that on the engine. I also found pictures of other 92-95 engines where a does say vtec it. Can I just by the cover and switch?

ya its vtec...doesnt say in on the valve cover...u can prolly pick one up somewhere on the net that says it

SOHC VTEC.

My 93 doesn't say it, but it's there. From what I understand, none of the 93's say it on them.

I think the 1993 SOHC VTEC Honda's (Del Sol Si/Hatch Si/Coupe EX) came with ugly Black Valve covers, The 1994-1995 came with the Aluminum that says VTEC on it.
