so i brought my first Honda civic 92 project..
Hi, this's my first honda civic 92 project. It need alots of work and repairing. Front windshield's crack. Front tire are worn out. I will need to replace all four. Engine oil need to change. Need a new radiator and reservoir. That some of stuff i need to do for now. I'm going to paint the engine bay. I'm going to swap it for b16a engine. What you all think?
I don't really know much but i want to learn. ANy comment would be appreciated. I brought it for $600 and the mileage's 300 000 KM.

I would take care of the rust asap. I would have gone for the two door personaly but a b16a will make decent enough power so the four door won't make to much of difference.

Thank for the comment. I really appreciated that. I did mind going for the 2 door, but my concern was the car insurance because it too expensive for me since I'm young driver. I don't want to give away all my hard earn money to those lazy insurance company. I want to swap for b16a because i feel it for beginner. I was told to do k20 swap, but i heard it much expensive than the b16a.

k20 would be the ultimate swap platform but i wouldn't invest that much money in your first project car. b16 will make great power and with the right work done to the bottom end you can turbo it without a problem and pretty much eat anyone on the road for lunch. I would save that k20 swap for a car you WANT to dump a lot of money into.

Thank. I'm looking forward to get a B16a engine. I will post photo of this project and I'm planning painting the engine bay too. I already got some new pair of front tires and new positive and negative terminal post. have remove the front bumper and notice alots of rust. Will need to fix that too.

it's my D in a B
Your pics are down.
As for swapping, pretty much any b-series is the same amount of work. If you're fine with doing a b16a swap, I'd also consider a b18b (if you want to turbo down the road), a b20 (these are really cheap) or a b18c if you've got a little more money. Really, you can't go wrong.

Sorry about the photo. I will upload it again. I got my tools ready and looking to swap this spring and summer. I did some minor work under the hood.
