Default What tires to get?

I'm thinking of getting a new set of tires - I currently have 17 inch Toyo Proxes FZ4's and even though the tread life has been much better than my old Falkens, they are way too noisy and they are definitely not meant for wet weather, even though they're supposed to be all-season tires.

What brands/models would you guys recommend?

For 17s there's:
Toyo T1S
Kumho 712s
BFG g-force TA KDs (although I don't know exactly the right sizes they carry)
Yokohama A520s - had these but they got loud as they wore down.

Most ultra high performance tires are like that - that's why you get winter tires.

I'm getting Kuhmo 712s within the week so I would say go with them. You get free Momo Sunglasses if you buy before 7/4/02 I think.
