Default '03 Si B16A2?

Does the '03 Si h/b got the B16A2 engine?? exactly same? This engine was made on the '92 Civic VTi in Euro/JDM right? and honda is stilling manufactering it since 1992? shiet!

its the kseries now
the b16a has been around since the crx 88 i believe

But the new OEM '03 Si got 160hp right? So isn't this the B16A2? And yes, the B16 had been around since..

B16a1 150hp - CRX since '88
B16a2 160hp - Civic VTi since '92
B16a3 169hp - CRX Del Sol since '93 (not sure)

My question was that does the new Si got any B16 series engine? Cuz it got 160hp --> B16a2?

like the others said, it's the K20 now...
yes, hp rating is the same as the b16, but this is a totally different engine.
what you're saying is that if chevy and ford built the same output engine, that they'd have to be the same engine!

The US version of the 2003 Si has the K20A3 which does have 160hp and a bit more torque, but it's a totally new engine. Mounts are not even the same. And it's now an i-VTEC.
