Default grrr! its clunking!!! help

ok so everytime i go over a bump or something in the road, the rear end makes like a clunk noise...like two parts r seperating and then hitting back together. i just had the rear driverside ball bearing replaced. could this just be the new part working itself in? if a better description is needed, lemme know...

darkcyde,
Uh, ball bearing? Do you mean wheel bearing? Maybe when they re-assembled things, something wasn't torqued down properly. But, wheel bearings don't "work" themselves in. They get lubed and should spin...that's all...no noise.
How about pushing up and down on the bumpers to see if you can isolate where the noise is coming from. It could be something as simple as a muffler coming off a hanger. You could also get the thing on jack stands and see what moves around back there.

Sounds more like a strut mount or bushing to me.

it could be from ur suspensions too. or check the bushings on the rear lca. i believe on some civic there was a recall to replace the bushing. as for me... i get squeeky noise from the trunk and rear side. i heard it also on my friend's teg... it all started after getting stiffer suspension in the rear. do anyone have a cure for that???

I think if u lube up the bushing that will make them not squeek.
