Default Need some advice..

I have been in this forum for a while. i usually read and read when i have a prob i usually search and find it..

now this is my prob. I have a 2002 Civic Ex..

WHat can i do to this car's engine without messing with the warrenty? I mean i know that nos is outta the question but I know there are other little things for me to do..

I am thinking a intake for sure, and i am not sure about the rest..

Now for the exteriors i was thinking 17's, rims but this is really my first car that i ever fix up, so i dont really know alot about nothing when it comes to fixing rides or tires sizes, etc... I really dont want to be the guy that looks like a dick with the type-r sticker in the back and a Si sticker in the front..

i dont want to be that guy that goes to the shop and tells them "Can u make my car look like one of the fast and the furious?".. I know there are things that i must take the car into do, but i know there are things that are easy and you can do yourslef.. (intake for example...)

LOL..

any help is greatlly appreciated..

its all about what you like. i mean if your thing is led washers and muffler tip power to ya i wouldnt advise it but still power to ya. cause seriously i know too many people that have done what others have told them and they dont like it so they change it and end up spending twice as much. just so they can have what they want.

Hey man, it all depends on what you want to do with the car. Do you want to make if fast or look good? Or both? How many miles are on it? If you are toward the end of your warrenty, go nuts. Most of the time, and I say MOST of the time, the aftermarket parts are better quality than the OEM stuff. If you are truly worried about warranty stuff, stick to simple bolt ons like wheels, intake, or stereo stuff. That way if you run into a problem, you can easily remove it before taking it to the dealer. I have run into the problem too where even if it is under warrenty, and you have aftermarket parts on it, they will charge you extra because they claim they have to do extra work in order to work around the parts. Talk to your dealer and ask his oppinion on it. Good luck!!
