It's a little more involved cause there's a lot more pieces. It is also very handy to have a nice bunch of extra misc. bolts so you have a couple to separate the drum from the spindle; otherwise, it's a super bish!

Just remember to only do one at a time so that you have a template to look at when you're taking one apart.

I usually use these tools:
Needle nose pliars
2 Bolts
ratchet
flathead screwdriver (to adjust the pads)

The rest is just busted knuckles good luck!

i'm voting for gloves. well my friend (car mechanic expert) and me (moderate car noob) were changing my shoes on the drum. and i was like err. thats a lotta pieces and crap and then my friend pulls a spring out and it goes *spoing* and everything falls apart and i was like ok, np myfriend knows what he's doing. we we put the new ones in and assembles everything together but it just won't work some how and isn't fitting right but my friend has to start getting ready for work. so i'm sitting there thinking er ok.. this can't be this hard. so i finally figured out what he was doing wrong and put all the stuff together inworking order. but some pieces wouldhave been better if you had the right tools for pulling the springs ie needlenose plies , etc, its all commonsense really if you look at the pieces and i was able to put it back together without looking at the otherside never doing it before so you should be ok
