I just judge off my dipstick, and the levels constant, so.... :dunno:

Thank you for realizing what I was saying umop. At least someone on here is knowledgeable. "consuming a quart of oil is normal.... " Yes it is.

So. what does it mean when there is oil in the coolant? no white film, no debris, just black oil?

nah not black oil, it's just a small spotch of clean oil. I think it happened when I changed my coolant. I did the oil at the same time. There was probably only a teaspoon in there. If you have black oil in your coolant though, I would have it checked out if you cant diagnose it yourself.

it could maybe be your heater core! check for a wet floor in the front passenger carpet!

i consume about a quart of oil every month or two...but that's what boost will do to ya.
