keep the stock sideskirts....ideally, you want the sideskirts to line up prefectly with the front bumper, and be slightly lower than the back bumper. if you look at a civic prefectly from the side, the front bumper is higher than the sideskirt.

i say if it looks like a ctr lip, then it is a ctr lip :fawk:

It just occured to me that the picture they show for the 96-98 two door, is not a type-r lip for 96-98. Thats the OEM style lip that you can get for about 75 dollars on hparts.com
Is that what the type-r lips looked like for 99/00 civics?

Sorry to rub you the wrong way Quik. I understand what a lip kit is, I just ASSUMED it had a little more lip than that. As far as the widow ninja terminator type deal kits go, crouching tiger hidden dragon dog. Settle down now kids. :fawk:

It's all good, man. No harm, no foul. Anyways, the lip matches perfectly with the side skirts, so I'm very happy with it.

I got my front si lip +sides painted for 50 but my good friend works at a paint shop so that would help too. I have pics of the SI lip/sideskirts+SI grill on my 00 white ex if anyone is interested IM me at jkan2001
