Default Custom Dash color

Does anyone have any suggestions on dash coloring? I think I might try to do it myself, anyone try that before?:naughty:

black is the only way to go,
and i hear that it fades easy, so make sure and
primer, layer, layer, layer, clearcoat

me and my friend did it to her car.. it came out maddd good, i have pics of the process if ya wanna see them.. just make sure u use 500 degree temperature resistant paint on the dash board, since the sun will constantly be beating on it.

i'd like to see them, i was interested, but untimately decided it'd be to hard to paint around the dash

Painting the whole dash is a no no it will look like crap as time goes on. Do it right do it once, vynil wrap it.

Painting the plastic parts, now that works.

How in hell would I vinyl wrap my Dash? Wouldn't I have to take the whole dash off? That sounds like something I would have to pay a professional to do.

Damnit, I wanted to do it myself, but from what I'm hearing I'm going to have to spend some dough to get it done, which sucks.
