Default Battery relocation to rear

Okay, Summit has the Moroso battery box for ~$100. It's a lot of money, but it'll get the job done right. How did you guys do it? I previously had it tied down with a cable. h:

I haven't done it, but you could just build something out of wood and cover it with that trunk carpeting and bolt it to the flooring of the trunk. :dunno:

Never put a whole lot of thought into it.

That's ghetto, but a regular battery should be sealed (I found out.)

Yes the correct way is sealed in a box and bolted down. Don't cheese out on installing it the wrong way. The battery should vent outside the car. Plus if you just zip tie it remember it's acid you are talking about and that thing breaking open in an accident would be gruesome.

I know that ... I'm too cheap to buy the Moroso box

I need a new battery though.

The Moroso box is real nice. Not very heavy.
