How much did you fork out for all that? Its that time for my Civic to get the timing belt and water pump changed. I am at 68,000 miles.

68k? honda recommends 90k so you'd be alright till then.. i bought my car at 88k a year and a half ago and i'm at 113k now.. i didnt know if it had been done so i kinda risked it til now.. turns out the belt and everything was in pretty good shape.. but i am good for another 90k which is worth it.. i said i spent 466 yesterday and about 190 today.. total

That's interesting that you said 90k. Honda told me that it should be at 60k. I also have heard that from other mechanics that I know and also some friends. Do you remember what it was exactly for the timing belt and water pump alone? Just curious, hey by the way what part of Utah do you ride in?

I live in Layton, but grew up in Centerville. How about you, you never mentioned where you roll at? I talked with a good friend of mine and his dad races out a RMR and also all over the western US, so he and I will most likely replace the timing belt, but as for the water pump I don't know what I will do about that? Definatly let me know about a meet, I would be happy to come out for it.

No pix unfortunatly, that's cool that you live in West Jordan. I lived out there for 12 years, that place is totally different now. Anyway's thanks for the heads up on the service.
