im looking for an upclose well lit picture of the 98 ctr headlight assembly... im pretty sure i want them.. i had the black headlights for a while and am DEFINATELY over them right now i have completely stock ones... my concern is how dark the gun metal is in them.. i saw them before BUT can't really remember... they reminded me ALMOST of regular usdms cleared BUT slightly darker... any help would be GREATLY appreciated...

 

yea, the housing is 'smoked'.. as opposed to what most of us have done and painted the housing black.. its like they took some spray tint and did a few light coats on the housing so it still has that 'chrome' look to it, not to mention they lost the reflector for the h4 bulb, and the city light socket

im lookin for a pic for ya... not havin a whole lot of luck so far.

Light output is good. I get highbeamed by a lot of people who think I have mine on when I don't (OE headlight bulbs). I never had them professional aimed, but I'm satisfied with them. I've never wired up the city lights though. I bought mine from Option's Auto Saloon and they were brand new in the box but had no harnesses. Seeya.

 

see now im confused cause the last set look good.. like look at the differance between the ones on the last coupe and the ones on the spoon hatch.... they look completely differant

thats my guess as well.. i just really DONT want them to be BLACK.. gunmetal chromeish is cool, but black is NOT....
