How can I make my my Civic's B16A2 eninge block look cleaner? I've used degreasers and noticed that the metal stays a little dirty? I''ve seen some engine blocks look very clean.

Can I use paint? what kind can I use? Has anybody painted their block?

Buy a whole bunch of brake cleaner and spray the shit out of everything dirty. Brake cleaner degreases and it evaporates in a few seconds. Just don't breathe a lot of it in or you'll get a headache. Other people might suggest against this but I find that it works the best.
