Default honda dealer selling ZMAX

wtf... yesterday i went to honda dealership's parts dept.. and looky what i saw... ZMAX. they say they pour that stuff in the car everytime when customers brings their car in for tune ups. i know zmax is good for older motors... but what about pretty new motors? cuz i have a the Zmax kit from pepboys and certain bottles i don't know where i should pour it to. there is a small pink bottles that is supposely for the transmission... but my is 5 speed... so what i pour it into my gear box??? then there are other engine treatment stuff. bottom line... has anyone ever used these on their civics?? if so... how was it?

This case is the latest in a series of FTC law-enforcement initiatives targeting unsubstantiated claims made by auto additive manufacturers. The FTC previously halted allegedly deceptive advertising by the marketers of Dura Lube, Motor Up, Prolong, Valvoline, Slick 50, and STP, other major brands of engine treatment products.

SHould I worry if useing STP products?

I don't think that you should worry about it, they just got on their case cause they were making false claims. From what I understand, those products are half decent, I don't know about ZMax or Prolong, but the others I'm sure are alright. But, that's just my 2¢.
