ok..thank you! what a relief!

I also removed the resonator(yes..a noob mod, but i was bored). Not sure if there's extra pep or not, but it seems to drive well.

i bet

Is it usually normal for them to be too tight? I thought they woudl be too loose? Only like 2 valves total i didnt need to adjust, weird.

Update: I'm not sure what i did wrong if anything, but it seems like the engine is getting louder now after this adjustment. Any clues? Should i redo it using the "screwdriver in sparkplug hole" method? To make sure the camshaft was rotated correctly when doing the valve adjustment?

Also am i using the right measurments?

D16Z6
Intake: .20 mm
Exhaust: .25 mm

????

I'm kinda scared i did something wrong, i hope not!

if you did it wrong you'd be able to tell cause the idle itself would be rougher. if the engine gets louder it doesnt necessarily mean you did it wrong depending on how loose the valves where getting louder is normal if you pound it alot cause its sucking in more air now.

i redid the valve adjustment about 2 hrs ago.

The engine is ALOT quieter now. Overall i had the valves a little too loose. I tightened them down more this time to a more "snug" feeling when i slid the feeler gauge in there.

Runnin good now! Redline and everything

Thanx though!
