stalling problem

Default stalling problem

i am just wondering, sometimes when i am about out of gas, like the gas guage needle is on red, the car starts but it would stall, then when i start up again, its ok. is this normal?

quit being a cheapskate and put some gas in therre :P

but if your gas is really low, it might be hard for ur fuel pump to make enough pressure. try changing ur fuel filter if its old

I feel your pain... I'm broke as can be right now, my needles always on empty...

it means your out of gas and when you are out of gas that is bad.

Mine does the exact same thing. It only happens when I get below 1/8th of a tank. To fix this problem, turn the key on, but let the check engine light go out first, then start it. It will allow the pump to build up enough pressure.

If you keep your car below an 1/8th of a tank and your car has lots of miles on it, yeah it is.

i have around 145K on it. is this pretty high for milleage?
