OK, I will say this one LAST time. All OEM HID are NO MORE then 4300K. It gets no higher. The purple, blue, whatever color you see is from the headlight or projector housings and lens. 4300K put out a white light. ANY blue or purple is from the HEADLIGHT or PROJECTOR HOUSING. If you want this look get some BMW or Audi HID projectors and RETROFIT them into after market projector housings for your car.

I was just f-ing around, I had seen the car awhile back on ebay, where it was black in color

On to the questioning here, how much better in visibility is this? What were you using before you switched to this 4100k or 6000k H.I.D.? Been searching for something new when it comes to light visibility, My headlamps are not in so I have about a weeks worth of time before I really need/want something new to see with.

I'm almost sure in one of the pictures I saw the USDM bumps, are these JDM or USDM. Would like to know would the housing and/or lens burn with the JDM headlamp being made of plastic.

He's got USDM headlights.

JDM headlights won't melt. HID blubs don't get nearly as hot as halogen blubs. JDM headlights have a better beam pattern then ?USDM so you will get that much.

Thanks for the heads up. Know by chance which kit he actually has?

To the original poster, would you post some shots of the assembly under the hood?

it says 4100k on the box.. what makes you think its not 4100k?? oh at the top of the light (hid's) is a rainbow and the bottom is yellowish.. as when you put your hand in front of the headlights and look at the beams
