Please tell me this can be done
do you have just the motor or do you have the ecu, tranny and axles? if you just have the motor, i seriously think you should just hold back on the accord motor cause you're most likely going to pay more to swap it than finding another dx motor, which is butt cheap. good luck!!

My point is not performance nor weight nor power. it's about being able to drive to work instead of my car sitting in front of my house. i have a accord motor and a civic with a blown motor, just trying to put one and one together.
BTW: white lightnin, why would u call me a NOOB ?

it was a worthy technical question....there's no need for "noob" calling.

No I didn't mean it like that, I just wanted to know what makes a Noob, u know like what makes a rice burner a rice burner. Yeah I only have a few posts, but for some reason I couldn't get on H-A.net for a while, then they erased my profile. So i re registered. That and I don't get a lot of free time to post, too busy F#*#@% my girlfriend.
OK, back to my question. Actually I have the entire Honda Accord. I have everything, motor, trany, ecu, interior, brakes, everything.

get a d16 from a junkyard or someone that swapped. Should be about 300, and you'll back up and running. If you were close to me, I'd sell you one out of my garage. EASY swap if you ahve a lift. I bought mine for 200 with all the leveling **** and tax. That or rent a lift for 25 a day. I figure it takes me about 2 days to swap an engine by myself, so it works out being cheaper to own one. Let me know if you need any help with questions on the swap. An F22 would be no fun to do. Not worth your time when you can get a b16...

I know I know no hard feelings.
