knock sensor - where does it connect?

Default knock sensor - where does it connect?

I just recieved one in the mail, got it screwed into the block but don't see where it should go? car is a 97 civic dx with a 98 ex mini me swap.

Well, where did you disconnect the old one from? I didn't know the Dseries motors had knock sensors... did they start doing that with the 6th gens?

the d16y8 had a knock sensor. I assume he is using a P2P ECU so he needs to wire up a knock sensor. Wire up a knock sensor to D6 and you'll be good to go. It's only a one wire plug.

Maybe my terminology is wrong, but isn't a mini-me swap just putting the EX head on the DX block?

Not nescessarily,we refer to the mini me as any time you frankenstein a sohc.But yes generally that is the swap.

P2P doesn't look for a knock sensor.
