msilage: do you have any pictures of those?

I'm running on 16x7.5 on my DX. Also a 1.8 inch drop. Still have a little more wheel well gap than i like. No problems yet. Looks real smooth. My tire setup is actual smaller that stock. Traveling at 65mph, it's really about 61mph. Tire weight is a little more due to beefed up sidwall.

For 15's, I'd suggest either one of these...

Or the Rota wheels... BTW, Rota's also come in 16's as well if you're looking into 16" wheels...

First & foremost, any color wheel looks great w/ a silver car. Ehhh... maybe not black though.
Imho, it's hard to pull off 17's w/o a bodykit... or vice versa. If your planning or already have a bodykit you might want to put that into consideration.
Also, consider that the larger the wheel size, the higher the price. In the same token, the lighter the wheel (especially considering its size), the more expensive the wheel is due to manufacturing process ([cold-]forged/etc.). Those SSR Type C's posted above cost $300 each in 16" trim which are very lightweight. Volk Racing's TE-37 (really light!) can cost up to $500 each.

Just take your time, thumb through some more m'zines, check out wheel/tire sites (such as wheelmax/tirerack/groupbuycenter etc...)
Soon enough, you will come upon some nice wheels (& price) that YOU will decide to get.
Good luck!

xivera: thanks for the advice

I'm still wondering about larger wheels and snow issues, but I talked to someone who rides on 15s in WI and he told me he hasn't had any problems... so would 15s be ok? if 15s are ok, are 16s ok?

msilage: Thanks for taking the pics... I like how those look. I notice there seems to be a lot of snow around your car... so I guess you ride on your rims in the snow. I keep getting mixed message about doing this, some people say no and then there are people that do. Have you had any problems?

I was thinking of getting 15s or 16s.

What year is your car?

Do you have any information / suggestions on dropping my 97 civic?
