You guy's gave me an idea reading this. Allready cut the grill sections out on my 94 DX coupe. Got some off the metal latice from home depot. Still silver for right now. Doing the whole black and white thing on the car. Painting the two small sides black. Then with the center one, paint it white first. Get a vinyl cutout of some sponcer or race numbers and using it as a stencil. Paint the grill black so you have a white logo. Flame or no-flame.

Why not paint all the grills black and then the logo white? Just curious. Almost like a Blitz intercooler effect. Sounds ok, but I myself wouldn't do it. Grills aren't my cup of tea. h:

saving for the go, and the paint, will be doing a GSR or ITR in june-july, and than a month or two later ill paint the whole car, although i may wait till the next spring.

Once you paint it black, pell off the vinyl and you have a white logo on the with the mesh material. Won't be able to see it very well up close but from a distance it would stand out.
