Default Next Mod for ek hatch

Ok, I don't know if I should do this or not but I'm asking you guys for advice. There's this 2001 GSR Swap that I was looking at getting for 2,500. Which is pretty cheap I think, it comes with ECU, Tranny, and Wiring harness. Basically it's complete. And I have a friend who can install it for me on my 97 civic for like 500 bucks. What do you guys think? I can come up with 2500 in a month or so.

for USDM, maybe. There's a shop here that installed a JDM c1 with an auto->manual swap for about $3200, but I think a bit more work may have been done (cams, pistons, other crap :dunno: ).

but 170hp for $3000 isn't bad at all. Especially in your light-ass hatchy

Yeah I believe this one is jdm. I'm going to get my car smogged before I get the motor dropped though. Yeah I can't wait till I get the money to put this together it's going to be bad ass, I just saw a hatch the other day that's the same year as mine with a 97 gsr swap, that shiit sounded hella nice and he had some flows on it...
