Default check engine light on Civic 2005

on Saturday, I changed , oil, oil filter, air filter and air filter for the A/C. The check engine light came on. I checked on the manual and it said that it its the emission light. I tightened the gas cap just in case and I drove the car for about 200 miles but the light doesn't go away. Should I be worry? ther is any way to reset it? I'll appreciate any input

What code is it throwing? Although not the proper way to reset the ECU, you could pull the ECU fuse for more than 5 seconds, that should reset it.

that would be a code for your Intake Air Temp sensor. Depending on what year your car is, it is located on the plastic intake tube. It is very easy to dislodge during installation of the new air filter.

this is the IAT location on the 2000 civic. Yours could be in a slightly different location depending on what engine etc.

Thanks, it was the little connector out of place. I plugges it really well and reset the ECU pulling the fuse for few seconds. I have not problems after that. Thanks again......, the pictures and the tips help me a lot
