With 455whp you should be in the 11's. That person must suck at driving. I bet it could be in the 11's. Example being st00pids hatch that ran high 10's with i think less than 500 whp.

:dunno: but now, his hatch is going to have ATLEAST 600whp or more.

A CAI can be put onto a turbo car. It can be attached to the ambient air inlet on the turbo. Just like these pictures will show...

That looks like an intake on a turbo to me....

Thats not a CAI, and it pretty much serves as a filter by protecting the turbine.

C'mon man....where does the compressor get it's air?? It's not the exaust gas that gets pumped back into the intake. The exaust gas is used to turn the turbine in which turns the compressor wheel that draws air from the ambient air inlet. A CAI on a turbo is completely legit and possible. You shouldn't flame this guy when you don't got your facts straight either. We can all learn something new without a wise-ass putting us down.

Has anyone ever relocated the the pipe to the side, then be able to let the turbo intake drop into the same spot a CAI air filter gets mounted. Post picks, would be hella sweet to see that.

kinda off topic, i was woundering if anyones played around with adding weights to the control arms to improve their quarter mile time, i have seen one guy do this, on a highly modified corolla, it was front wheel drive and he said it gave him better launches, has anyone ever heard of this before?

if your saying you need a filter and pipe for the turbo, you are wrong. like txhatch said, its there to keep rocks and shiit out of the turbine. go figure.

No, I'm not saying one needs a filter and pipe on a turbo. honda_pilot said he saw a CAI on this guy's turbo civic. txhatch told him he "don't know jack" if he saw a CAI on a turbo. I'm sayin it's very probable there was a CAI on the car. Sure, maybe it's just to keep rocks and stuff out of the turbine. Fact is there can be one on a turbo. It just pissed me off how txhatch put the guy down when there was no need for it.
