Default Crazy Idle.

Okay guys, so all of the sudden my car starts revving crazy at warm up. At idle it fluctuates from 800 rpm to 3000 rpm. So, I'm thinking it's somthing with the IAC valve but I checked it and it's fine as far as my tests show. Then I unplug the TPS sensor and I get a CEL but the car is idling fine at 2000 rpm (I know this is high but after the cam install last year it has always idled this way) I looked at my haynes manual and tried to test the TPS Sensor but I'm not sure I'm doing it right. but then somtimes it idles just fine. last night i was running her and it was sitting there idling fine and then when I turned the headlights off it started idling crazy again. what do you think? Can I get a JDM screw on TPS sensor from anywhere or do I have to buy a whole new throttle body? I'm really not convinced it's the TPS sensor though.

You skipped a tooth on the cam gear. Double check the timing by putting the crank pulley at TDC and see where the cam gear points. Both crank pulley and can gear should be at TDC when you rotate the crank pulley to TDC. If not then you'll have to re-install the timing belt. Check this first.
