**** that expensive synthetic ****. I change mine every 1500 miles and I have used Castrol GTX 10W 30. A friend of mine sells industrial lubricants and knows everything about any type of oil you can think of. he said the differences are only noticed if the car ran synthetic through break-in. I have 30,000 miles on my turbo set-up with no problems. Don't waste your money. My D16Z6 used mobil one every 3000 and blew an oil pump gear at 195k so I was just wasting my money. No regrets though, I drove that motor hard as hell every day of those 195,000 miles.

Be careful running synthetic on a high mileage engine. Had some friends run Mobil 1 in a subaru impreza 2.5 and in an accord. Both had about 80k miles on them or so and they both leaked oil through the rings and some other gaskets. When they contacted Mobil one about this they said it was because the oil was thinner and would flow through cracks alot easier. My 2 cents.
