The only way you could get it to fit is to chop of the piping and make a new one to accomodate the piping that you have on your car now. But even then it may still not fit because the mufflers for the hatches are considerably shorter than a muffler designed for a coupe/sedan.

You can get a universal muffler for your car and then just have a muffler shop custom make you some piping for it.
Or you could spend just a little more for an exhuast system specifically designed for your civic.
