It is only about 15 degress outside and one of the bolts busted, so im crusing with squelly brakes until next weekend. very ****ty. i thought is was rather strange that i busted though, i was using my left hand and it was coming out rather easy, than all of the sudden it snapped and i smashed my hand of the ground.
Hey ManInCamo, bleeding brakes is simple. If needed, jack the car up. Look behind the wheel for a rubber cap. You need an 8, 9, or 10 mm wrench to open the bleeder valve. Get a hose that can catch the brake fluid and put it in an empty container. Once you attach the hose, open the valve. Then, slowly press and release the brake. Don't let the brake fliud reservoir go empty, or you will get air in your lines. Once it is running clean, close the valve, and repeat on all the tires.
Mant, you don't need to switch front to back. For me it depends on how I jack the car up. If I do the side, then I will do front and back. If it is a back or front jack, then I doth both tires there.
