There is an B16A2 (1.6i 160hp) engine who had 15k eu miles on it, and its from a crashed car.. But the engine is in the best condition, and the guy wanna sell it for $800..
And he said that the engine and the transmission is for $800, so the question was that what do i need to change to do an engine swap to my DX??

Is it a good deal?

 

Dude what year is that motor and why is he selling it so cheap, does he have the papers for it? If I had the cash I'd jump on that quickly. Where did you get a hook up like that?

 

its 1992 year model. And the engine is from Germany, so the cars are cheap in ger so thats not any special deal in Germany.

And about the papers, he haven't answered.

 

I live in Germany and that is good deal,I have that exact motor in my vx.if I had bought my motor without the extras,and it was a LOT of extras it would have been around 1200 ($2000 for a complete conversion,brakes front and rear everything).By the way it is 168 hp.And it will go into your car very easily,.You need to make sure you get all the needed parts,axles,shiftlinkage mounts,and ecu.And wire the vtec.
