17's are poo. Mine rode too harsh and they seemed to swerve with the road, but to each his own.

I think of it more this way. I have a set of 15" stock steelies and I don't really care what happens to them, so you tend to drive a little more carefree as opposed to driving with 17's where you have to be cautious of where and how you drive. But that's just me...

YOu can have everything within specs but since the tires are wider they will grab every little bump, pothole, and rut on the road.
