Default 5th gen headlight Q

i got a 5th gen civic and was wondering how the heck do i aim my headlights correctly? my left one is pointing down right now and my right one is shooting into the sky.(replaced the lights). I see these 2 knob screw things on each side of the headlight, but i dont see how im gonna be able to turn that or adjust. What tools and stuff do i need?

You should try to manually adjust the entire headlight housing to see if that would fix the problem. If it still isn't aimed properly, then you shoulc adjust the little screws in the back with a screwdriver.

I agree. Make sure the entire housings are correctly bolted to the frame. If they are, those knobs are for adjustment.

Tightening the top one and loosening the bottom one will aim the headlight up.

Loosening the top one and tightening the bottom on will move the headlight down.

you should be able to turn them with your fingers, but if not, try using pliars or if they have little holes in them, use a small screwdriver.

Hope it helps.
