Default Noob questions here...Please be kind :)

I have a 1993 Civic EX Coupe, 1.6 liter engine, 5 spd. manual.
What is the engine and tranny code? What does "JDM" stand for?
Thanx, H.

The engine code is D16Z6 and I don't know the tranny code. You can look at both the motor and tranny to get the codes. They're stamped on the block and on a plate on the tranny.
