Default Windsheild Wiper Motor

Is it posible to take a DX wiper motor and Wiper switch (off the steering Column) and put it in my CX so tha ti can have a delay settings for my wipers? or is there more to it?? TIA

Nah CX only has either Slow or Fast not Delay, and i would be nice to have it but if its not an easy swap i proboly wont do it.

hell, my delay is broken, they all seem not to work after years. also when i shut my wipers off they dont go back to the position, they just stop where they are at. its "winter" here so it doesnt rain, so i took them off.:thumbup:

I would look into an aftermarket delay setup if anything. The OE delay is just a 5 second hold. It's more annoying than useful because it's either way too long in anything other than a slight drizzle or to fast if it is just a slight drizzle. If you go to pep boys or a similar place they probably have something. My dad put one on an old Chevy van years ago and he knows nothing about cars.

Most likely you will need to find the wire that gets signal when the level is set to slow (easy with a volt meter or even a simple light) and just clip it and wire the delay between it. Seeya.
