the si radio has an anti-theft feature that requires u to punch in a numeric code after the power has been removed and put back.

ohhh i see, would the people who install cd players like at circuit city or somehwere know how to do this??? because i wont be installing it

they'll know how to install the deck, but u need to bring it to a honda dealer to get the code. some dealers will just give the code to you (given the serial # on the unit), some might ask you for a receipt or proof of purchase.

what do i do once they give me the number? i take it to the people who are going to install the cd player and they'll punch in the code for me???

It's an easy DIY job. Don't give it to the guys at Best Buy or Circuit City. I bet you won't even need an install kit or harness since it's honda factory issued. Can anyone back me up on this?

i dont get it though, say i buy a 99-00 si cd player on ebay, then i take it to the honda dealer and they'll give me the code? so what? they just tell me a number?? once they tell me the number i wouldn't know what to do, do they plug something in, or dial in the code?????
