Default engine code p1298

Hey, i did a search and couldn't find anything, my friend's 98 civic hx is throwing this code. If you could let me know what it is he'd really appreciate it. thanks

Check for a vac leak.

here you go:
P1298 20 Electrical Load Detector Circuit High Input.
The ELD is built into the fuse box, and usually when you get an ELD code it's because of a short or other problem somewhere else in the electrical system, and not necessarily a problem with the ELD itself. Did your friend do any electrical work lately? The ELD code usually comes up when someone does some sort of electrical installa nd crosses the wrong wires, etc.
